Ian Schrager has selected award-winning restaurateur Danny Meyer and his Union Square Hospitality Group to create a new, original restaurant for Gramercy Park Hotel, as well as take over all of the food and beverage concepts.
The new restaurant will be the first to debut from Danny Meyer since the opening of The Modern at the Museum of Modern Art in 2005. Celebrated architect David Rockwell has been selected to design this project. The restaurant will be inspired by Danny’s love for Italy. In addition, Union Square Hospitality Group will re-conceive and operate all food and beverage services at the hotel, including the Private Roof Club and Garden, banquets and private events, and room service. New, exciting seasonal menus for all of these venues will be introduced soon.
